I have been a long time customer of Dark Side Roasters. I was thrilled when they opened the Coffee House. I try and go there whenever I'm in town. The owners are so nice. The coffee is great! They've introduced a lot of variety in the eatery-part, too. The only downside is I wish I lived closer!
We love stopping at Dark Side every time we’re near Cicero. My husband loves great coffee and they hit the mark for him. Service has always been wonderful Vanessa has been helpful every time I have questions about purchasing equipment for coffee at home. Highly recommend!
Cute coffee shop in a cute town! The food choices at this coffee shop were fantastic & they had a fall menu for drinks. I had the spinach & feta quiche and an Asiago bagel with cream cheese along with a maple cold brew with cold foam. My friend got the pumpkin spiced latte, breakfast sandwich & a s’mores brownie to go. All of the food was great & we really liked the latte. It is a peaceful vibe inside with some seating by the windows.
These guys really know what they're doing. The roast is consistent and fresh, and nothing beats a well dialed in espresso! They measure their ingredients precisely with each drink and use thermometers instead of 'hot to the touch' to make sure their drinks are consistent each time. Their foods are amazing! Almost completely made in house and fresh! I make it a point to go here every time I visit Cicero. You should too!
Always great prompt service! Just one thing: as a Star Wars fan, I was stoked about that a themed coffee shop isnearby, but it's a little weak on the theme. Doesn't matter though, the coffee's amazing and the service is awesome.
We love Dark Side! Their staff is always so friendly and I love being able to pick up gallons of their cold brew to-go and have it at home. Love the rotation of yummy treats and seasonal drinks. Our kids love being able to pick out a cake pop on occasion or having breakfast dates before school.
My favorite coffee shop! It keeps getting better! So many things I love: delicious coffee and treats, helpful and experienced staff, quality beans for purchase, clean and inviting space! Additionally, Darkside engages well in the community! They truly care about serving the community and making it better!
My husband and I are huge fans! We love supporting local family business and are business owners ourselves. The shop is adorable and such a great location. Lots of options and something for everyone. I wish more people supported local coffee shops like this over the big chains, which helps their community.
